Controller - Global Consolidation (m/f/d)

 Your Responsibilities

  • Running the process of month-/ year end closes in accordance with group accounting standards
  • Improving & ongoing supervision of processes in line with the "group finance manual" in close cooperation with heads of accounting processes
  • Update of internal "control standard manual" & ongoing supervision of internal controls via global on-site audits and desk reviews
  • Support to the 40 (partially smaller) units in the group in controlling, accounting and consolidation questions in close cooperation with tax, treasury, accounting & legal department
  • With the go-live of NetSuite ERP in 2021 focus will be on further improving automation & usage of state-of-the-art NetSuite processes in consolidation tasks
  • Project tasks and management (optimization & innovation of processes)
  • Portfolio of standard FP&A tasks – planning (FC & budget), analytics (billings/ cost/ efficiencies, likely investments), closing the books and follow up with offices

Your Ideal Qualifications

  • University Degree or equivalent education in finance or business administration with focus on accounting/controlling
  • 4-6 years of experience preferably in a corporate environment
  • Good accounting knowledge
  • Good understanding of consolidation in a global system like NetSuite
  • Good communication spoken/ written in English and German
  • Power BI/ Workday experience
  • MS Office Suite especially MS Excel accustomed user
  • Ideally first knowledge in swiss code of obligations (Schweizer Obligationenrecht)
  • Change management experiences welcome
  • Positive and team-oriented personality
